Couples Retreat

This residential retreat will offer 6 couples support and time to reclaim closeness, renew love, and reconnect to a mutual purpose. The program will include individual, couple and group sessions, good food, nature and connection. Various accommodation options are available from cabins to camping, these are booked upon request.

Know Thyself: Living compassion

Prerequisite: NVC basic foundation workshop

A 9 week online course that will explore how to live and embody compassion in a real way. You will deepen your understanding, and learn to embody the key principles, of Nonviolent Communication.
Each 2 hour session will have a theme and include group work and individual reflection time. The course covers the cost of a workbook - 'Know Thyself' written by Richard Broadbent.

* PREREQUISITE: The basics of NVC = 1 foundation training (minimum) and 6 months experience.


'Living in Relationship': Yoga, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Breathwork Immersion

This Immersion is for those who wish to deepen their understanding of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and explore how body awareness, movement and breathwork can increase the felt sense of presence, empathy, and connection we experience with others and with ourselves. Over the course of six days, Katie, Anna and Rob will share their unique take on NVC as an integrative and embodied life practice. This 6 session online training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is for people who wish to learn the basics of NVC, gain an overview of the 4 step model and develop empathy skills. You will learn tools that can be applied immediately in daily life, bringing more honesty and harmony to all relationships - both at home and work. 'The Great Pause': Retreat for women experiencing menopause

Friday 24 July – Monday 27 July, 2020
Venue: Appleby House, Mapua, Nelson, NZ
Cost: $850-$995 (various accommodation options available)

This retreat is for women who are experiencing any stage of menopause.The focus is on supporting the body, mind, and spirit to find creative and caring ways to be with this new stage of life. Sharing with other women makes the journey less lonely. Themes covered will be nutrition, physical changes, health issues, role in life and identity, sexuality and intimacy, societal pressures, creating supportive networks. The weekend will include movement, yoga, food preparation, nonviolent communication (NVC), sharing circles, meditation, humour and a whole lot of fun! Only 15 spaces, book now!

Alive in the Body, Alive in the Moment: Yoga, NVC, Breathwork 6 day Retreat

Over the 6 days of this retreat, we will offer a full foundation training in Nonviolent Communication. Woven into each day will be yoga practices structured to serve the daily components of the NVC learning and provide a resource to integrate and "land" the teachings. Live guitar music offered by Rob will accompany these movement explorations. Breathwork and meditation sessions will be shared daily to further anchor the teachings and support deep and nourishing periods of rest and integration. Co-facilitated with Katie Lane (Yoga Therapist/Teacher Trainer).
